Shriners, family and friends will gather in St. Louis – known as the Gateway to the West – for the 134th Imperial Council Session June 29-July 3.

“The presence of the St. Louis Shriners Hospital and support from Moolah Shriners make this location an excellent choice,” said Imperial Potentate Bernard J. Lemieux, M.D. “And there are many attractions and great things to do in this city.”

While in town, you can catch exciting baseball action with Major League Baseball’s 2006 World Series Champions, the St. Louis Cardinals, be amazed by the view – 630 feet above the Mississippi River – at the top of the Gateway Arch, or visit the Missouri Botanical Garden, widely considered one of the top three botanical gardens in the world.

“Since the last Session was held here in 1997, St. Louis has received awards for its renaissance and revitalization,” said Director General Barry Todd. “It is a wonderful destination for families. There are world-class attractions, such as our St. Louis Zoo, museums, Six Flags theme park, a Shriners Hospital and many other interesting things to do and visit.”
