YAARAB SHRINE Demolition Derby
- All Drivers must be 16 years of age with a valid driver’s license. If under the age of 18, the driver must have a parent or guardian sign a notarized authorization form which is on the bottom of the entry form.
- All drivers must wear a helmet, eye protection, long pants, long sleeved shirt and seat belt.
- Entry fee shall be paid prior to participation in the derby. The money and Entry form must be received by May 14th. The Entry fee is $100.00 per car. If turned in at the gate it will be $150.00 per car. Each driver and pit crew members must sign a waiver and release, which the Yaarab Shrine and anyone else involved in promoting and staging this event from all liability from participation and or attending this event.
- ABSOLUTELY NO ALCOHOL IN THE PIT OR ARENA AREAS. DRIVER’S’ AND PIT CREW MEMBERS CAN NOT DRINK ANY ALCOHOL BEFORE OR DURING THE EVENT!
- A mandatory drivers and pit crew meeting will be held prior to the derby starting time. Rules and info contained in this document are subject to change at the time of the event.
- Yaarab Shrine will not be held responsibility for any cars, parts, or personal property before, during, and after the Derby.
- YAARAB SHRINE DOES NOT PROVIDE PARTICIPATION INSURANCE.
- Registration form, release form, and entry fee must be completed and paid prior to inspection. If a car fails inspection, corrections can be made any time before the drivers’ meeting. If you decline, you will be disqualified with no refund.
- Cars must have legible numbers on both sides of the car, and on the top, or hood of car. This rule will be enforced.
- Compact cars may be American or Foreign.
- Disqualification of a car or driver for any reason will NOT be refunded.
- Yaarab Shrine is putting on a Demolition Derby for entertainment value. Please keep this in mind that all personnel working the event are volunteers and do this because of the enjoyment to the public. The Demo Derby is supposed to be FUN!
- No airbags allowed.
